Training for Area-Based Closure Program
The AER has delayed Area-Based Closure program training until early 2019.
The AER is hosting training sessions in Calgary, Edmonton, and Medicine Hat for licensees and service providers who wish to take part in the AER’s area-based closure (ABC) program and submit planned ABC activities using the OneStop tool.
Phase one of the ABC program was launched on September 26, 2018. Under phase one, companies can use OneStop’s mapping tool (Map Viewer) to coordinate their closure program. Phase two of the ABC program, launching December 6, 2018, will allow companies to report closure related activities through OneStop.
