Area-Based Closure Program - Industry Information Sessions
The Alberta Energy Regulator is hosting industry information sessions in Calgary to educate companies on the area-based closure program. The program enables companies to work together in coordinating their closure programs for wells, facilities, pipelines, and sites across Alberta to help reduce cost, while being more efficient and effective.
The sessions will include the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, the Explorers and Producers Association of Canada, and the Petroleum Services Association of Canada. At each session, industry representatives will learn about area-based closure, hear success stories from companies who have already taken advantage of the program, and find out how they can benefit.
Seating is limited, so please register early.
